Self-Employment Training Empowers Cancer Survivors with Knitting and Marketing Skills
NeCaSS, with the generous support ofMetLife Nepal, successfully completed a 5-day "Self-Employment Training – Knitting and Marketing" program for cancer survivors.
The training focused on helping survivors rebuild their livelihoods, which were often affected by the financial burden of cancer treatment. Throughout the program, participants learned knitting skills and marketing techniques to create and sell products independently.
By the final day, survivors were proudly making mufflers, hats, and socks in various designs. Certificates were awarded to celebrate their achievements and encourage them to continue growing their skills.
