School-Level Cancer Awareness at Shree Bhagawati Secondary School, Belbari

NeCaSS, with support from MetLife Nepal, successfully conducted a school-level cancer awareness program at Shree Bhagawati Secondary School, Belbari, Morang. The session was facilitated by Dr. Alok Thakur, a Radiology Oncologist, who provided insightful information on cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of timely medical intervention.

The session focused on educating students about the risk factors associated with cancer and how lifestyle changes can help in prevention. It also aimed to create awareness about the significance of early diagnosis in improving treatment outcomes.
