On October 9, 2024, the Nepal Cancer Survivors Society (NeCaSS), with support from MetLife Nepal, successfully organized a community-level cancer awareness program in Bhaktapur Thimi. The event was held in collaboration with the Panchayan Women's Savings and Credit Cooperative Society and saw the active participation of 75 women.

The program was facilitated by cancer expert Dr. Roshan Prajapati, who provided insightful information on cancer prevention and early detection. Additionally, Registered Nurse Rupa Maharjan from Karuna City Clinic conducted a practical session on breast self-examination techniques and circumcision education, empowering women with lifesaving knowledge and skills.
