Cancer Awareness Program at Shree Ganesh Secondary School Supported by MetLife Nepal

On 28th December 2023, the Nepal Cancer Survivors Society (NeCaSS), with generous support from MetLife Nepal, organized a successful cancer awareness program at Shree Ganesh Secondary School, Budanilkantha. The session was expertly facilitated by Dr. Prakash Raj Neupane (MS, PhD, Senior Consultant Cancer Surgeon and Chief of the Department of Oncology at B & B Hospital).

The awareness session engaged over 90 students, both boys and girls, educating them on cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of spreading awareness within their communities. This initiative plays a vital role in empowering young minds to become advocates for cancer awareness among their families and society.

NeCaSS extends sincere gratitude to Dr. Prakash Raj Neupane for his invaluable contribution and expert insights.
